Our practice consists of a team of physicians dedicated to delivering radiation therapy to exceptionally high standards treating your cancer or condition. We treat the whole person. We are concerned and care about your emotional state, your spiritual needs and all the other details that follow a serious diagnosis. Initial consultations are relaxed and lengthy, allowing plenty of time for you to have your questions answered and to get to know your physician. We will spend time with you each week during treatment to address any new issues that may have arisen. Real people will answer the phone, and you will find your physician responsive to your requests for return telephone calls, additional information, and scheduling needs. Your physician will be available to you to answer questions throughout your treatment course; a member of the group is always on call after hours to answer any concerns that may arise.
Many clinical situations are presented in a multidisciplinary conference setting, where a team of cancer experts can weigh in on treatment options and approaches.
Peachtree Radiation Oncology participates in prominent national and institutional research protocols, which can often offer exciting new therapies in advance of their adoption by the community at large. Please feel free to discuss your interest and candidacy for any research protocols that are open with your physician.
